Theater O!Tempora
What is that about?
Welcome to "O!Tempora" — The Theater of Historical Interpretations, where history's unfailing wellspring breathes life into our theatrical narratives.
Our essence is rooted in a tradition as ancient as theater itself; born in the amphitheaters of Greece,
where muse sisters Melpomene and Thalia turned to their sister Clio, the muse of history, for tales old and new.
At "O!Tempora," we believe that history and theater are governed by similar laws of drama—both are propelled by conflict,
unfold from exposition to resolution through a climax.
Our name itself, part of the Latin exclamation 'O tempora! O mores!' – 'Oh, the times! Oh, the customs!' reflects the eternal struggle between Good and Evil
enacted both in historical arenas and on our stage.
In an age where it's commonly stated that there's no absolute historical truth—only varying interpretations of well-known facts—we beg to differ.
We seek truth not in events, but through characters and their actions; a truth that transcends timelines.
Clio, Melpomene, and Thalia reunite at 'O!Tempora'. The third bell rings. The curtain rises!
Join us as we explore the depths of human experience through the lens of history, reinterpreted on our stage. Here at 'O!Tempora',
every performance is a dialogue with time itself, a testament to the enduring power of storytelling that captures essential truths about humanity and its heritage.
