Psychoanalytic comedy
The play is based on real events that occurred in Zurich in 1909. The romantic relationship that developed between Dr. Carl Gustav Jung and his patient, Sabina Spielrein, threatened his career at the Burghölzli psychiatric clinic. The arrival of Sabina's mother, Eva Markovna Spielrein from Rostov, Russia, further complicated the situation.

Nadezhda Suslova, the first female student at the University of Zurich, struggles with academic pressures and the hostility of those around her, when her sister Polina arrives burdened by a painful affair with Dostoevsky. Together the sisters summon the writer’s spirit and, in a surreal comic twist, attempt to dissect him like one of Nadezhda’s frogs in order to understand love, literature, and their own futures.
